Thinking about digital health technologies in terms of "milieu”

FBK-ISR International Seminar 2022
The aim of the presentation is to overcome two pitfalls of digital health ethics, namely on the one hand an approach to the digital as an environment to which one has to adapt and on the other hand an approach that reduces the digital to a mere instrument. The proposal is to approach the digital as a “milieu”. This thinking of digital health technologies in terms of “milieu” should make it possible to “de-polarise” the ethical approach to digital health.
