The seminar will present the Feminine as a theosophic concept/figure within the boundaries of the mystical Jewish sources, as recently elaborated by Moshe Idel, and in some liturgical texts used in synagogue. The entire reflection will be contextualised with the explanation of the roles of women in daily (orthodox) Jewish life and in rabbi’s “halakhic spirituality” rooted in the Tanakh (the Jewish Bible), the Talmud, and its major commentaries.
