Alberto Romele, Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Verona, works in the fields of philosophy of technology and philosophical hermeneutics. He has been a researcher and professor in several European universities. His current research focuses on digital hermeneutics and technological imaginaries. He is the author of articles appearing in journals such as Philosophy & Technology, AI & Society, and Theory, Culture & Society. His monograph Digital Hermeneutics: Philosophical Investigations in New Media and Technologies has been released by Routledge in 2020 (paperback version 2021). At the ISR, he develops a project on the ethics of visual science communication about Artificial Intelligence.
