We will discuss the impact of politics, religion and nationalism on disputes over various holy places in Jerusalem specifically the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Temple Mount/ haram-al Sharif. The interplay between those dimensions of human culture and law will also be addressed.
Recent UNESCO resolutions regarding Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Nablus will be analyzed.
Through this Seminar we purport to apply our Mission on Religion and Innovation to the domain of political and legal innovation.
