Dialogue on Medically Assisted Dying
The practice of physician-assisted suicide will be the subject of an interdisciplinary discussion among Daria De Pretis, vice president emerita of the Constitutional Court and member of the Scientific Council of the Courtyard of the Gentiles, Nereo Zamperetti, a resuscitation and palliative care physician, Lucia Galvagni, a researcher in FBK and bioethicist, and Carlo Casonato, professor of Bio-law at the University of Trento, from the document prepared by the Scientific Council of the Courtyard of the Gentiles and published in the book “Dialogue on Medically Assisted Suicide,” edited by Cinzia Caporale and Laura Palazzani (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche Edizioni, Rome 2024), with a preface by Giuliano Amato.
The event is organised and promoted by the Biolaw Laboratory of the University of Trento.
