Irene Scarascia

Short bio
After a Bachelor Degree in Philosophy and a Master Degree in Visual Arts at Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna (during the second year she spent ten month in Erasmus at Université Paris VIII Vincennes Saint-Denis, Paris), she obtained a Master Degree "Religions and Cultural Mediation" at the University La Sapienza in Rome. Then, in January 2016, she began a Research Project in Auroville, Tamil Nadu, India entitled "We Cannot Claim not to be Eurocentric. Auroville: «reflexive spirituality» beyond the borders of Europe” and since March 2017 she collaborates with Professor Mariachiara Giorda in the course “Study of Religions” at the University of Bologna, Faculty Anthropology, Religions and Oriental Civilizations, as lecturer during classroom lessons and as assistant in the examinations during exams sessions. Now she studies super-diversity and religious pluralism in urban public spaces and the relationship with actors involved. She joins in FBK in March 2017.
