Travel Grants for Graduate Students | Artificial Intelligence and Religion | Trento, 3-5 March 2020

The Center for Religious Studies is pleased to announce the availability of 5 competitive travel grants for the participation in the conference Artificial Intelligence and Religion – AIR2020

We welcome applications from Master’s and PhD students working in fields relevant to the conference topic, including broader issues in religion and technology. Acceptance of a paper in the conference is not a requirement for applying. The grant will cover hotel accommodation and meals for the duration of the conference (booked and paid for directly by the Center) as well as a contribution of up to 300 EUR for travel expenses (to be reimbursed after the completion of the conference and upon receipt of the travel documents, travel expenses eligible for reimbursement: economy airfare, train, bus).

Conference language | English

Attendance at the entire conference will be mandatory for travel grant recipients.

● personal motivation letter explaining the relevance of the AIR2020 conference to your PhD or Master’s project, and specifying how you will cover the remaining travel costs not covered by the grant (if any),
● academic CV,
● a reference letter by your PhD or Master’s supervisor
● a declaration that the applicant has understood and agrees that travel expenses will be covered up 300 EUR (economy) on a reimbursement basis and that no reimbursement is due in case of cancellation or partial participation (for whatever reason)
