The Davide Zordan Lecture is annually held in late Autumn. It was established to honor the memory of a researcher of the Center for Religious Studies of FBK, who died in 2015.

In this year’s presentation, Ingolf U. Dalferth will talk about the too often neglected importance of passivity in human existence. For, while in the modern form of life dependence is usually undervalued, freedom is overrated, to the detriment of the power of deep passivity, which is fundamental even in the exercise of freedom as a possibility of the good and for cultivating the hope that rests on it.

The lecture will be in English, but the audience will be able to follow the Italian translation on a screen

In order to attend the event it is necessary to book within December 13th at 12 a.m
