From 14 to 16 February 2024 the meeting of the ‘Global Faith-Based Healthcare Systems’ project will be held in Trento, at the Bruno Kessler Foundation. The project has been developed in partnership between Georgetown University and the Bruno Kessler Foundation’s Centre for Religious Sciences. During those days, the participants – coming from the academic world, from local communities in different countries of the world and from faith-based healthcare organizations – will reflect on and discuss the topics of the mission for health and of engagement, taking into account local and global dynamics and considering present situations and scenarios. That allows understanding what means practicing the art of medicine in complex contexts today, which role spirituality can play in healthcare and how science and technology can contribute to promote health and structure care and assistance of people living in extremely precarious realities of the world.
