4th seminar of the cycle of meetings ‘Medicine and Environment’, organised in collaboration with the Centre for Religious Sciences of the Bruno Kessler Foundation of Trento and the Department of Humanities of the University of Trento for the year 2025.

Mind, environment and global health
Starting from an analysis of the concepts of mind, environment and global health, Eduardo Missoni will reflect on the relationship between globalisation and health, emphasising its determinants, including ecosystemic determinants, then on the concepts of planetary health and One Health, emphasising the value of the macro-environmental component and reflecting on the impact of the environment on mental health. Considering the scenario of infectious diseases, Stefano Merler will highlight the relationship between mind, behaviour and health with regard to the transmission of these diseases in particular. In the dialogue, the two speakers will highlight the importance of developing a systemic approach that positively addresses and defines the relationship between mind, environment and health.
