Margherita Galassini at the OSCE’s Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting

The 3rd Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting (SHDM), organised by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), will be held online on 9-10 November 2020 and a live streaming of the event will be provided on this webpage.

Margherita Galassini will serve as an introducer to SESSION II: The Role of Digital Technologies in Advancing the Right to Freedom of Religion or Belief: Challenges and Opportunities. The SHDM will explore the current state of freedom of religion or belief in the OSCE region and the opportunities and challenges that exist for the realisation of this aim, the impact of rapid digitalisation on the enjoyment of this right, and the role of civil society actors in building and sustaining a culture of freedom of religion or belief for all in the OSCE region. In this regard, the SHDM addresses the interaction between religion and innovation, whose understanding forms the core of FBK-ISR’s mission and Strategic Plan 2019-2021.
