Mortali | Living despite. Recognising death to dance life

We are mortal, but sometimes we forget it. That’s why Mortali, the festival dedicated to our finitude, returns after two years from its first edition. Our finitude is a limitation, but also an opportunity to learn to live better, to value the time we have. Awareness of our mortality is an opportunity, especially if we can experience it collectively as well as individually.

Mortali 2025 is a festival spread across different locations (Trento, Rovereto, Mori, and Bolzano) and genres: from conferences to death cafés, theater, music, art, and cinema, Mortali is for all of us. We are here for a limited time, we are temporary and our awareness of this is often temporary, but for now we are here and we can take each other by the hand and dance together in our vulnerability.
