Valeria Fabretti selected for the EU project network 'Global Exchange on Religion in Society' (GERIS)

03 June 2021

Global Exchange on Religion in Society (GERIS) is a two-year project (2020-2022) funded by the EU and implemented by a consortium composed of Particip and the Media Diversity Institute. GERIS works through networking, community-building and media engagement to create an initiative of encounter and dialogue on diversity, coexistence and social inclusion. In this new global platform, positive experiences of coexistence between people of different faiths, or none, living in different societies around the world will be shared and discussed with civil society actors. The meetings will take place both online and in the countries involved in the project: Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Indonesia, Morocco, South Africa, and the USA.

Valeria Fabretti has been selected through a public call for applications, and will share with the network her experience of research and intervention in the projects that FBK-ISR carries out, in line with its mission, on the themes of tolerance and the engagement of religious organizations and actors in social innovation.
