Silvio Ferrari is a retired professor of “Law and Religion” at the University of Milan, where he continues to teach “Law, religion and literature”. He has taught at the Universities of Parma, Turin, Leuven and Strasbourg and has been visiting professor at Berkeley, Princeton, Paris (Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes) and London (Institute of Advanced Legal Studies). He has served as advisor in many EU and OSCE committees and has been a member of the Italian National Committee of Bioethics. He is one the founding members of the European Consortium for Church and State Research and of the International Consortium for Law and Religion Studies.
