This contribution explores the intersections of feminisms, religions, and digital media, with a focus on how religious feminists engage with progressive politics through podcasting. Digital spaces have become key arenas for religious feminist activism—spaces where alternative narratives around gender, faith, and authority can be expressed and circulated. At the same time, these platforms are not neutral; they can just as easily sustain traditional hierarchies and conservative worldviews. Drawing on interviews with religious feminist podcasters in Europe and North America, I discuss how podcasting enables audibility activism: the creation of intimate, emotionally resonant soundscapes that allow for the articulation of alternative feeling and expression rules within religious traditions. These digital practices reveal both the possibilities and limitations of online spaces in transforming religious discourse.
