The Forum on Religious Studies – FoReSt 2025 is an event organized by FBK-ISR in partnership with Banca per il Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. It is designed for doctoral students and early-career researchers, offering them an opportunity to engage in discussions and debates with experienced researchers and lecturers, and to present their own research.

FoReSt is structured in several parts: some, by invitation only, are more academic, others are more educational, and others are more informative – the latter are organized in the city of Trento and are open to a non-academic audience too.

The sessions held at the Bruno Kessler Foundation, known as “Camera,” are specifically designed for doctoral students and researchers to focus on their research. These sessions differ from traditional seminars by providing an opportunity to present a more detailed version of their work. Participants receive feedback from a senior discussant and a mentor affiliated with the FBK-ISR research group. Additionally, the audience plays an active role in the process as co-discussants.

The programme also includes keynote speeches, workshops and events related to the dissemination and publication of research products.

In particular, on 28 September, starting at 3 p.m., a public event open to citizens will be held at Palazzo Benvenuti, entirely dedicated to research communication. In that context, a round table discussion dedicated to the topic and storytelling will take place.

Registration for the event is required in order to participate.
